This week is National Nurses Week, and this video from TEDMED pays tribute to the wonderful men and women who help millions of patients through some of their darkest days. Cancer survivor Carolyn Jones takes the time to remember one nurse in particular who helped her believe she would get better and that life would get back to normal.
Lymphoma News Today‘s resident columnist, Radiant Racheli, also used National Nurses Week as an opportunity to express her gratitude to all the wonderful nurses she’s met on her journey. The ones that were there to hold her hand when she got scared, help her realize that once she left the hospital she was no longer just a cancer patient, and help with practical things like insurance forms, referrals, and pharmacy fills.
