In this video from DKMS US, 23-year-old Anthony Daniels talks about the importance of bone marrow donors.
Anthony was fighting Hodgkin’s lymphoma for the fourth time when he was told that he needed a vital bone marrow transplant to survive.
At the time of filming, doctors hadn’t found a match for Anthony despite searching for more than a year. He hoped that by raising awareness of the disease and the need for bone marrow donors that he would encourage people to donate, hopefully finding a match for himself and helping other lymphoma patients in the process.
Since posting the video, Anthony beat lymphoma only to have it return for a fifth time. He explains on his Facebook page that he is devastated by the news but is staying positive and is looking into a more holistic route of treatment.
