When head teacher, Tim Hadley heard that one of his young students was being bullied, he wanted to get to the root of the problem. Jackson’s grandfather Rick had recently been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy which had made his hair fall out. In an act of solidarity, Jackson decided that he would shave his head to support his grandfather.

However, Jackson found that instead of receiving sympathy and understanding from his fellow classmates, he was taunted and called names.
