Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi’s Road to Cancer Remission

The iconic Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi, has been battling lymphoma since 2012 and recently spoke about the diagnosis, his struggle with the disease, and his decision to leave life on the road to take care of his health.

While unveiling a plaque at the hospital where he had been treated, the rock legend confirmed to the Birmingham Mail that his cancer is finally in remission.

“I came back to hospital straight after we finished a round of European tour dates, and the good news is that everything is alright up to this point,” he said. “I am in remission and hopefully this situation will continue.”
