#TBT – Basketball Team Plays for Coach with Lymphoma

Sports usually bring out the best in people, and this is one of those cases. There’s a high school in Tennesse that has a particularly big-hearted group of girls as students and they are the basketball team! Station Camp High School team – The Lady Bison – have decided to change their uniforms and are now wearing different ones to honor their coach, Kendra Jackson, who was diagnosed with folliculotropic mycosis fungoides lymphoma, a very rare type of cancer.

The group of girls decided to change the color of their team kit for the 2015-16 season. Now, instead of their usual maroon and gray, their kit is now lime green and gray. And the color choice was not an accident – the lime green symbolizes the fight against lymphoma.
