Despite being on crutches for an injured ankle just a few weeks ago, the Superstore star completed The Lavaman event at Waikoloa Beach Resort, Hawaii, last weekend and even managed to achieve her personal best swim time.
According to Yahoo Celebrity, America competed in the event with her sister, Jennifer Ferrera, and husband, Ryan Piers Williams. Between the three of them, they raised more than $16,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society calling upon celebrity Hollywood friends like Eva Longoria and Judith Light to sponsor them.
