Ice Mobility Donates Over $22,000 to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Chicago Chapter

Ice Mobility donated more than $22,000 to support and raise awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society‘s Chicago Chapter. The funds will be used to help the society’s mission to find cures and ensure access to treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma patients, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their caretakers.

The money, donated by Ice Mobility’s partners and employees, was raised during the company’s first annual Golf Outing held Oct. 4, 2016, in Chicago.

“What an amazing surprise when we received the Ice gift in excess of $22,000,” Pam Swenk, executive director of the Illinois Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, said in a press release. “We just can’t thank Ice enough for this spectacular gift and all the effort behind it. We are both appreciative and humbled by their hard work and dedication that will benefit people with blood cancer.”

John Mitchell, president of Ice Mobility, said the donation effort “captures the true spirit and dedication of our team, as it was their idea to support one of our own who has been diagnosed.”

“We could not have accomplished this without the generous support of our partners and we are honored to support this incredibly important cause,” Mitchell said.
