The Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) will return to Mayfair Farms in West Orange, N.J., for its 7th Annual Ace Lymphoma Luncheon on June 13. Since its inception in 2010, the initiative has raised more than $600,000 to support LRF’s work.
LRF is America’s leading nonprofit focused on funding novel lymphoma research and serving the community through a robust series of education programs, outreach initiatives, and patient services.
“Year after year, we are continually inspired by the support the New Jersey community shows on behalf of the Lymphoma Research Foundation and its mission of eradicating lymphoma and serving those touched by this disease,” LRF’s CEO Meghan Gutierrez said in a press release. “Through these luncheons, LRF is able to not only raise awareness of this disease, but also raise critical funds to support our innovative research programs to advance the forefront of research.”
One of the country’s leading experts in lymphoma, Morton Coleman, M.D., from New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medicine, will give a keynote speech on the future of lymphoma research and the impact of the funds raised at the event.
The Ace Luncheon will take place at the historic Georgian mansion located on 14 acres of lawns, gardens, and landscapes with a unique view over West Orange. The event will feature a raffle, auctions, and a special afternoon card party. Individual tickets will be sold from $125 and sponsorships are still available.
This year luxury partners will participate in the event, such as Saks Fifth Avenue at the Mall at Short Hills, Daniella Ortiz Design of Palm Beach, Haverhill Fine Jewelry, Irina G, Jodi Rose Originals, Mikal Designs and Tiffany’s Trinkets – all providing exclusive shopping boutiques to event attendees. As in previous years, vendors will donate a share of the afternoon’s earnings to the LRF in support of their mission: to eradicate lymphoma.
“Saks Fifth Avenue at The Mall at Short Hills is proud to partner with the Lymphoma Research Foundation for its Seventh Annual Ace Lymphoma Luncheon,” said Kristi Brink, vice president and general manager of Saks Fifth Avenue Short Hills. “We are excited to feature makeover consultations from Guerlain Beauty to help raise awareness and funds for this very worthy fundraising event. We are always looking for ways to give back to our local community, and with nearly 2,500 people diagnosed with lymphoma each year in New Jersey, this is a very important cause for us.”
The 7th Annual Ace Lymphoma Luncheon will be co-chaired by Gladys Cook, Toby Cooperman, Rellye Corwin, Vivian Friedman, Francine Oberst, and Dr. Marcia Robbins-Wilf.
