“There are 137 different types of blood cancer. They have different names, different symptoms and different challenges. You probably recognise two or three, but many will be unfamiliar and some don’t even sound like cancers. It makes blood cancer hard to understand, to talk about and to explain and patients say they often feel isolated, unrepresented and unsupported.
We want to change that. We want patients and their families to know that their cause has a champion and we want the world to see that the writing’s on the wall for all 137 blood cancers.”
