As part of her “Magic Yarn Project.“, Holly Christensen wants to get more people involved on her special project: creating “princess” wigs for kids with cancer.
After a friend’s daughter discovered she had cancer, this Alaska woman, who used to be a nurse, working specifically with cancer cases, wanted desperately to help.
Christensen, wondering how incredible difficult it would be for a 2-year-old girl to go through all of this, made her a long and beautiful wig out of yellow yarn resembling the long braid of Rapunzel.
From then, she couldn’t stop putting smiles in these kids’ faces.
