3. Acidic diets cause cancer.

Blood is usually alkaline, which is a function of the kidneys. Any extra acidic or extra alkaline in your body is secreted through the urine. To maintain this correct balance in the body, your urine changes the pH depending on your diet, but in no way does it make cancer appear more often.

Acidosis is a physiological condition that occurs whenever your kidneys and/or lungs can’t maintain the body’s pH levels, but it’s not a direct result of overly acidic diets. There is no evidence proving that diets can manipulate your body’s pH levels, or have any direct impact on cancer.
