Adaptive Insights has announced the implementation of its software in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s system, to assist in fundraising operations and in advancing blood cancer treatments.

Adaptive Insights is a leader in cloud corporate performance management (CPM) with a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that offers tools for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, consolidation, dashboards, and analytics that empower its clients’ finances and sales, and improves their overall competitive advantage.

LLS has deployed the software to all of its 64 chapters in the United States and Canada, so that the 400-plus LLS leaders and staff can count on better financial planning and analytical capabilities. The enhanced functionality is expected to boost financial collaboration, accountability, and transparency across the entire organization.

“As responsible stewards of the funds donated to LLS, we are committed to providing the most updated technology and access to those in our organization responsible for financial management,” Nathan Taylor, LLS vice president of Financial Planning & Analysis, said in a press release. “The increased visibility and access to financial data across our organization will provide our staff, donors, and other constituents an increased level of confidence in LLS’s ability to efficiently deliver our mission across research, patient access and advocacy.”

Taylor and his team expect that Adaptive Insight’s CPM suite will assist them in obtaining accurate metrics on business drivers, which would in turn lead to enhanced decision-making regarding time and effectiveness.

The adoption of monthly reports and real-time collaboration provides a new supporting system to LLS’ staff, whose main objective is fundraising. In the future, LLS hopes to use Adaptive Insight’s planning resources to achieve even greater accuracy in budgeting and forecasting across the organization.

“This is one of many proof points that financial transformation can lead to so much more — saving people’s lives,” said Adaptive Insights’ CEO Tom Bogan. “It is inspiring to see how an organization as impactful as LLS has embraced our solution and involved employees across all chapters and functions. This collaborative finance model enables tremendous time and cost efficiencies, which translates into more funding to find cures.”

In addition, this year the Adaptive Insight’s user conference, called Adaptive Live 2016, had an LLS presentation, titled “Boosting Companywide Engagement in the Planning Process.” The conference, which took place in San Jose at the San Jose Convention Center from April 27-28 received over 1,400 finance professionals to debate insights, training, and networking.

There are more than 1.1 million U.S. citizens living with some sort of blood cancer today. In LLS’s six decades of existence, the organization has invested more than $1 billion in research.

“As the world’s leading nonprofit voluntary organization dedicated to fighting blood cancers, it’s imperative that LLS has the tools it needs to invest in cures and access to treatments,” Taylor said.
