Just before Boughton turned 21, she was diagnozed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Following her diagnosis she felt nobody would ever understand what she was going through.
Not long after, she was contacted by Tozer, who had also been dealing with Hodgkin’s lymphoma for quite some time.
Only 300 young people are diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma each year in the UK, so it’s amazing they found each other living just 15 miles apart.
